Birthday Roadtrip

Tinamad ako maghanda nung birthday ko, one reason is dahil low ang budget , Second reason is tinatamad ako, 3rd reason is dahil 30 ako and currently loveless eh balik sa reason 2. Plus for the past almost 4 years eh palagi naman ako naghahanda. So para maiba naman which coincide sa personality ko eh I wanted to try something different.

Ideally what I wanted to do is to go on an overnight roadtrip. Gusto ko sana pumunta sa underground cemetery sa quezon, and stop at any place nearby of interest..yung paeasy easy lang na pasyal..pag inabutan ng gabi eh di shack up sa nearest hotel. I wanted sana to spend it with close friends or better yet a date. Well any possible candidates for a date eh malabo or cancelled or hindi pwede. Ang mga close friends ko naman eh either me lakad work or have families na. Sadly some of the friends I thought would go wasnt available or had other plans. Pero it was touching rin na some of my real close friends told me na gusto sana nila ako samahan kung di lang talaga for a really valid reason or kung mapopostpone lang eh they would gladly go, magpapaalam na lang sila sa asawa nila or would cancel some trips and they texted me in the evening to see If I was ok and if I had gone thru with the trip. True concerns from true friends.

Anyway luckily another really food friend of mine went with me plus me nakuha syang kadate nya so me incentive pa sya, but basically he wanted to go rin dahil parang eager ako to go. Ako olats walang nayaya so scorer ako, it was just me an precious. Nakalimutan ko nga magdala ng whiteboard eh para di ko makalimutan ang score.


So the plan, go to Daranak falls and anything else in between. I abandoned my plan for quezon to another date kung kailan me makakasama ako or kung talagang sipagin ako na pumunta magisa. Luckily , my friend had this new SUV na gusto nya iroadtest, so ok na rin. Daranak falls is in taytay, I had no idea how to go there, so tanong tanong lang, medyo longway pa ang nadaanan namin kasi hindi kami sa antipolo nanggaling. The road was only two lanes and ang traffic kasi panay ang jeep . We went straight sa Daranak falls and planned to stop by places on the way back . Tumigil lang kami sandali for lunch, with konting videoke and sangkatutak na pagkain. We finally got to Daranak, me nakita pa nga kaming shooting ng ABS CBN for maging sino kaman, near the falls area. The area was a park, with benches and tables being constructed. Swerte konti ang tao kasi friday kami pumunta , It was worth it as the dalls was clean and really beautiful. As usual , kami ni precious(my camera) ang magkasama, I took some picture and swam for a few minutes. The water was cold , naghihiga ako sa salbabida habang lumulutang sa pool ng falls. Just a few minutes from Daranak is Batlag falls which was a beautiful but on a higher part of the hill. Meron din tables and stuff , a great place to camp I guess. Pictures again and as a first eh don ako sa falls area nagsabon at nagbanlaw kasi walang shower area na malapit, under construction pa. Sabi nung babae na bantay when I asked her san kaya pwede magshower, sabi nya "sir don na lang sa falls"...ayos don pala ang shower ..yung malaking malaking shower pala .

It was a bit late already, and the road didnt have any lights so we decided to go around 430. Dahil late na nga malabo na rin makapagstop pa sa other places. PAbalik sa Antipolo way kami dumaan, then went straight to Cloud 9 at sumulong highway for dinner. Syet ang lamig pero ang ganda ng view. Sinigang, fried tilapia and rice ..tapos malamig ..dabest. As usual , I took some pictures ng overlooking, and luckily eh ang World Pyrolimpics could be seen from Antipolo becoming Makati's background. Ang galing ng timing. Then finally home. By the time I got home, my colds had started to get worst and I had to stay on to rest, while my friend mike and his date still partied the night away.




Ang isa pa ngang reason why I wanted to go on the roadtrip eh gusto ko sana picturean ng last pictures si greeny, parang goodbye greeny roadtrip, what better timing to do it than on my 30th birthday. Kasi si greeny ang aking magic tsinelas eh sira na due to weather. Dinikit ko na nga lang ng scotch tape, pero in daranak parang nakita ko , pwede pa sya ah... iibahin ko lang ng konti ang angle ng shots ko and pwede pa for pictures si greeny.. It wasnt the end of Greeny, I just needed to adjust.
