Kiddie Parties 2000
Another Age Factor Type Blog....
I just noticed that Kiddie Parties are now big events. Before it was just Weddings who have a full programme of activities during the event, you have the preparations, the church wedding, the reception with the cake slicing, toast etc, sa debut I think its more recent, ..pero childrens parties?
As usual.. comparison muna... Dati here was my idea of a middle class childrens party...
Meron Menudo, barbecue, hotdog on a stick na lahat eh inihaw at prinepare simula 10am to 1pm. Plus ang spaghetti. Sa isang side ng bahay andon naman ang mga tatays , titos at mga friends ni erpats na may case ilang case ng Pale Pilsen . Sa inuman, hangang 12pm yan at every hour me bubulagta na lang. For the Kids, meron pabitin..syempre pag me pabitin..sosyal. Tapos Ang laman ng pabitin mga candy at chocolate eggs na nilagay sa plastic, mga tau tauhan at text. Text na carton indi sa cellphone. Pag medyo bongga, meron pang sabitan ng palayok tsaka me party hats. Pag may party hats ka, sosyal talaga.
Fast forward. I wouldnt consider us rich... and that goes the same for my friends , middle class still, pero ganito na ang mga parties na naattendan ko lately... ang venue, usually not at home, kasi nga less work, more convenient and aircon . Yung mga venue.. kanya kanyang gimik.. meron pool, playground, or garden type design minsan...plus andyan ang ever reliable mcdo at jollibee. Tapos ... meron caterer na ngayon.. and iba ang pagkain ng bata sa matanda..sabagay me point. Then meron Party Organizer, yung ang mag dedecorate at magfafacilitate ng games at program para sa kids. Then merong face paint, dirty icecream stand tapos meron puppet shot, at magic show.. saka pa papasok ang parlor games. And minsan na lang ginagawa ang trip to jerusalem, parang ang baduy ng game mo pag trip to jerusalem, meron yung basketball game, meron yung arrange yourselves, tapos iba pa ang games pang matanda. Then after all the games, saka lang seserve ang food. Then saka lang me pabitin at indi na palayok kasi nga naman nakakatakot baka mabagsakan ang kids sa ulo ... Pinata (Pinyata) na ang tawag pasa sosyal, filled with candies. Meron ako naattendan... pinata of balloons...ang cool. tapos meron pang mascot! Plus me giveaways pa lahat ng kids for the party... kumpleto!! Tsaka ang Hosts...English!!!!... para kang nanonood ng kiddie show..dati si Uncle bob lang ang me kayang magganon...ngayon Career na ang childrens party host.
I wonder what would be next ang gagawing event... well sa mga burol me catering na for dinner pero sa rich na burol ko palang nakita to..baka susunod may AVP na.
Gusto ko lang rin ihirit to in connection with kiddie parties..Hate ko talaga sa games ang the boat is sinking.. nagkakatulakan at me naoutcast. wala lang.
