Levels of Relationships

I learned this from my Friend Roly.

There are 3 strong levels that you meet in a relationship, parang level ng video game na kailangan mapuntahan and mareach for a strong relationship.

Level 1 is attraction, where you are physically attracted to that person, it maybe superficial but it very human and very important.
Level 2 is Chemistry, This is when you have transcended the physical aspect, when you know you can spend the whole day with this person and look forward the 2nd day and 3rd day . Where things just happened effortlessly and you continually enjoy each others company.
Level 3 Values and Morals - This was what I just learned from Roly and I agree. There are a lot of couples which just uses levels 1 and 2 , but to have an agreement in values and morals is what will make relationships truly strong. Instead of not talking about the things you disagree upon this is where you both agree on whats important .

To find all three would be ideal.

Summer 07

I always thought summer was not my season for love as most summers I spend more for lost than gained loved. I thought It changed this summer .. I guess I was wrong. I met her from a photoshoot, I got attracted with her positive personality, her sense of humor her smile. It was a whirlwind romance with her being able to bring out what I was reluctant to give. My battle torn heart has slowly weakened and let my brain overpower it. Then there was that summer, those few weeks spent like a blur, spent in happiness , spent with no idea what lies the next day. A road trip made special not by the place travelled but the person spent with, happiness spent each time together, longing each time apart. Like a rocket launch counting down from 10 to 0 it stopped at 4, then she left . All the memories kicked in, my mind like a mother grabbing a child from harm reminded me of my past, how hard it was to wait in uncertainty not just for me but for her. I made no promises .

I don't know if it was my lack of promises or was it her mind beating her heart as well that turned her cold. True I yearned for her as she left but maybe it is by fate that the time we spent was quick to lessen the blow, to lessen the yearning. Now she acts like I do, and even more, ..more mind now than heart .. I said to myself.. so be it. I guess this is where this chapter ends. I always wondered before if we would meet again and catchup where we left off .. I guess this was not meant to be. I would always remember that summer though , that sweet summer.

The Great Balance

Getting a bit philosophical even though Im not that smart to be but anyway just for the heck of it.

I definitely believe there is a great balance that needs to be kept in life. A balance that is linked to karma , zen, yin and yang and in filipino terms "Ang gulong ng palad". A wise friend once told me "Swerte sa Parking, malas sa pagibig" , which now I understand with a deeper meaning to be true. Although not always via parking space does life seek its balance of course. I think it is linked to "Gods Great Plan" which spans a persons life or sometimes more and is linked to almost everything else like a long line of dominos.

There is no one who has everything. I have not heard of anyone who has all the wealth, great family, doesn't worry about anything, no responsibilities, great respect, total contentment no one has this for a lifetime. There might be short phenomenoms of having this but surely before having this great sacrifices must have been done.. hence balance. Simpler example , Had a very depressing day just a few days before then a few days after a round of good news happened all in a day. Bad days happen in 1s or 3s, then things go back to normal. I also believe that if you are so happy one point do not be afraid that something bad may happen as this maybe because you worked hard for something. Wala lang .. naguuulan nanaman kaya kung ano ano nabloblog ko.

depressing stuff

Langya kanina, today was a gray , raindy day .. day started early , I woke up an hour early and couldnt sleep again. Went to my normal weekend thing then went to MCS to get DVD's and buy a gift for my niece.

MCS or Makati Cinema Square from my estimate should be almost 30 yrs now. Its airconditioning hasnt been running for almost 4 months now, I have not seen the place had all its escalator work for almost 6 years. The place has transformed to a mini quiapo of makati. Dont get me wrong its been my favorite mall for quite some time but on that day the whole atmosphere of the place was really dull and depressing. A lot of the old stores have left and theres a lot of unoccupied space. Kumain ako don sa favorite korean resto ko don.. a cheap looking korean resto that serves beer during lunch time and me libre kanta ang customer..pero may super winner na beef stew. Ang palabas eh Wowowee.. maryosep watching wowowee eh medyo depressing na.. dont get me wrong I feel bad for those people kaso when you are eating and watching tv like a game show you would like to feel good about what your watching.. sigh.

After lunch time for shopping. MCS had the last few branches of Plaza fair, a once very up and coming department store nearly rivalling SM but failing miserably because of bad management . I actually witnessed the owner shouting in the middle of the store in front of everyone, belittling a promo girl.. a true blue asshole. I went their to buy a toy.. I saw half the number of salespersons around. Went from the 3rd floor down one level. Only half the lights where open, so the place was dimly lit. Shelves were full with cheap electronics and middle class to cheap RTW. I went to the toy section and saw some toys half open, and a lady with a girl playing with the toys. The lady was actually an old employee who was just visiting or getting her last wage. She was complaining and saying this kind of thing was not for her.. I could feel the grimm from the other employees, the feeling of a dead end job with a class B department store for an asshole boss . Dont get me wrong , I think being a sales person is an honorable job its just that plaza fair has left a bad taste in my mouth because of the display I saw from its owner.. ..again a total asshole. I was probably buying a 2 yr old toy but it was working and it was cool. I went up and had it gift wrapped, old designs, half lit floor place was really depressing.. Again there where people in civilian outfits chatting with the staff.. possibly former staff.. my guess was they were laid off or resigned because the already declining sales had been made faster because of the aircon situation. Too add to things the guys who where infront of me bagged and tagged their own stuff because there were no bagger around. But as if this was not all enough.. here came the coup de grais ... On the speakers where blasting a Slower Josh Groban like version of Bridge Over Troubled Water.. NAMAN!! Pwede naman masaya patugtugin.. yun pa!!! Now that was depressing shit!

The Transformers - Those who didnt make it

Ok, I really liked the transformers movie ,one is for sentimental reasons as I was a real big fan when they first came out and I would watch them on Channel 9(tama ba?) , I spent most of my allowance then saving to buy one , naghati pa kami ng brother ko to buy Mirage as he was the only one we could afford, mga rich kid langa ng pwede bumili nung malalaking robots non or kung ang daddy nila eh nagtratrabaho abroad. Anyway that was why I loved the new movie as I think it did the story justice, plus overall the movie was very entertaining.. there was a lot of inyour face action, comedy and great visual effects parang Independence day. As we know the transformers copies the form of the inhabitants or machines of the planet they land in as the movie went.. Pero.. I would like to tell the story of the other transformers who landed dito sa pinas pero di nasama sa movie..this is their story...

1. 2KBot - yung transformer na lumanding sa may simbahan area, sadly ang nascan nya na entity e kakanin. So nung nagtransform sya eh nagi lang sya na kutsinta.. too lame for the movie.

2. Banawetron - Tong transformer na to eh until now in recovery, he landed in quezon city sa banawe area, tranformed into this really cool Honda Civic..kaso fell asleep after he transformed , paggising nya he was shouting in pain dahil nanakaw ang sidemirror , mags at ibat ibang parts nya , pati gas nahigop. Parang yung story ng mga tourist na nakatulog tapos paggising wala ng kidney.. Til now under medication pa rin si Banawetron .

3. Transformer -X1 - this unnamed transformer died before being named, he landed sa may UP area , transformed into this L300 van then proceeded to roll out , everything was kaso sa Commonwealth sya dumaan, ayun naaksidente agad and got hit by a truck na tumalon sa center isle.

4. Saraobot - Landed sa province and transformed into a jeepney. Until now ayaw sya palayain ng driver na nakahuli sa kanya and pinampapasada pa rin sya. He cries every night.

5. chopper - Landed sa villamor airforce base and transformed into Huey Helicopter.. Sadly yung vietnam era huey choppers natin ang nacopy nya.. he crashed a few days after din.

6. Jackpad - Landed sa May public market and copied a dipadyak na tricycle. di na nakasama kasi ang loser.. nagrollout ayon ang bagal.. until now on the way pa lang rin.

7. Cavitecon - Landed in Cavite and copied a really cool owner type stainless jeep, until now di makajoin kasi di makapasok na manila para makapunta sa airport..bawal ang owner type na sa manila.

8. cellbot - landed sa greenhills area..he transformed into a cellphone, kaso got stolen then got reconditioned .. he has not functioned ever since.

9. Dildoid - Landed in a sexshop, transformed into a dildo.. last we heard he was used by the beautiful model who bought him andhas not transformed back eversince.. nagenjoy ata ang hayop.

10. Trashoid - Fell into Payatas, pagkabagsak pa lang pinagparte parte na ng mga scavengers.. DOA.

11. Salonoid - Landed in to a parlor.. became a hairblower.. and enjoyed the Parlor life and found his true self..he has denounced the Autobots and has started his own group.. the Autobads.

Pinatubo Adventure

Went to Mt. Pinatubo for a 2nd time this year, this time with officemates.. the trip was as tiring plus im not in shape so It wasnt a walk in the park for me but hell yeah it was well worth it. The first time I went there, the water turned brown because of summer, but when we got there last weekend.. it was ..WHOA! Turq... aaah blue green na lang hehehe.. ang galing.

Most of the persons I would show the picture too, the first thing they would say "Phinotoshop mo ba to?" . Actually that was my first reaction when I saw the lake again.. as if God ran photoshop and changed the color of the lake to something surreal. The last part of the trek is an upward trek then you would see some concrete steps and a handrail going up what seems to be nowhere.. like upwards into the clouds, everything is covered in grass and rocks. You trek upwards so you look up and have no idea whats on the other side. Imagine this (sorry medyo sizzy hiker ako so pagod agad ako), tired from the 1hr trek, you see these steps that signals you that you have reached the crater, but all you see is rocks and grass, you look upwards and climb the steep steps 1 after the other, im not the tall so each step is more like a leap for me, but you all you see is the end of the stairs leading to heavens as the song goes. Then you reach the last step, you take a deep breathe feeling exhaustion wrapping its arms around you.. as you reach the last step you see the lake for the first time, a turquoise/aquamarine-ish lake like nothing ever seen in the Philippines. The lake is wrapped by high cliffs and a canyon like something out of J.R. Tolkiens world. The mountain is hovered over by heavy clouds and small burst of sunlight passes thru the gaps of the clouds illuminating patches of the lake as if making each patch glow. And suddenly all your exhaustion goes away and a smile suddenly forms in your lips. Then, 2 words escape your mouth.. "hanep grabe"

For those thinking of going there, you could call Jovy at 09283410402 (as of Jun 2007), she works for the resort spa build just outside the start of the off-road trail. She can hook you up with 4x4's , guides and a spa treatment perfect after the hike. We took the Hike/Dinner/Massage Package under P2000 each.

We left at around 7am (suppose to be 6am) had breakfast then arrived around 10 at the resort . To go to the resort, you drive all the way to the end of NLEX then I would suggest taking a left to concepcion which is the alternate route but dont go to concepcion. You should make your way going to Hacienda Luisita. You might see a fork showing Alternate route to Baguio..DO NOT GO THERE. Just ask around the way to Hacienda Luisita. When you endup at Caltex where you will see a jollibee and KFC, do turn right , this is the road going to baguio and Hacienda Luisita, but just a few meters right before the city hall of Capas, turn left, its sort of a 2 lane street but not very wide. Take that road , all the way straight, then at the end turn right. Aaaaaalllll the way straight following the highway passing the death march memorial and military camp, and around 1km of rough road with a few meters of pavement in between. Just keep going straight, you'll end up seeing a billboard of the pinatubo adventure stuff, thats the resort. Dont worry if you miss resort and kept going straight, you'll know you missed it coz you'll run out of road and you would see a huge ass wilderness like something out of lord of the rings.

From the resort You take a 1 hr 4x4 trip which is quite shaky and would pass on really rough road including inclines and some areas near cliffs. The 4x4 trip takes you to the starting point where theres clean restrooms and some tables . There you would start another 1-1.5 hr trek to the crater. Expect crossing small streams , grass and a very rocky terrain. No climbing done and a walking stick would be very helpful.
